Dave The Guitar HERO!

I got Dave the Guitar Hero III game for our Wii for Christmas and I have created a monster!! I do believe he thinks he is really a rock star!ha ha. He played it for 3 hours straight the first night he got it. Of course Reece has to follow in his dad's footsteps and wanted me to take a picture of him with the guitar. Nash, Dave is waiting for you to come visit so you can battle each other. He thinks you would appreciate this game! I must say it takes a lot of eye hand coordination and I need a lot more practice. I can't even make it through a song yet! We have had a lot of fun with our new toy this Christmas!

Christmas pictures

We spread out our Christmas celebrations over 4 days between all of our family. The boys have more toys than they know what to do with. We had a great Christmas and enjoyed our time with family so much. Mom and Dad are very tired of untying toys from boxes!!! UGH!

Reece's Christmas Program

Reece was a shepard for his preschool christmas program. He was not very excited about it and was doing a lot of complaining about it. The night of the program he did great! His teachers both stopped me to tell me how proud of him they were! He was singing the Reindeer Pokey that is why he has a red dot on his nose.

Making Christmas Cookies

The boys really enjoyed making cookies with Nana. Reece got so into decorating his cookies that he forgot to pay attention to his body and fell out of his chair onto the floor. Sprinkles went flying everywhere!

Happy Birthday Reece!

Today is Reece's 5th Birthday. We celebrated on Saturday with a party at the bowling ally with friends and family. I can't believe he is 5 already! It just doesn't seem possible! We had a great time. Reece had a little issue because he didn't win but all in all I think he had a great party with lots of friends!

Oh No Braxton is quiet?!!!

I was vacuuming today and realized Braxton had not been around for awhile. I knew I needed to go see what he was up to because he doesn't stay alone long and if he does and is quiet, you know it is trouble! Sure enough, I found him in his bathroom redecorating! ha ha. He got up on the counter and got his crayons for the bathtub down and decided to start a masterpiece on the floor and toilet. By the time I found him he was already starting to clean some of it up with his wipes. What a funny guy! Good thing I found him before he started on the walls, I don't know if it would have come off as easy as it did on the floor and toilet. Gotta love that little redheaded monster! His shirt says it all today Little Devil!

The pumpkin farm

While Dave was at a Notre Dame game getting depressed, the boys and I decided to take a trip to the pumpkin farm. It was a beautiful day and the boys really enjoyed the Fairy Tale part where there were several pumpkins decorated like Fairy Tale characters such as Beauty and The Beast and Pinocchio. We enjoyed a hayride, corn maze, and pumkin donuts with apple cider.

Braxton spinning out of control

When we went to the park to play in the leaves Braxton wanted to ride on the spinning equipment. He got so dizzy he almost falls off. I just can't stop laughing every time I watch this because he wanted to do it again even though he says he was sick! He is my sensory seeker!

Carving Pumpkins

Here are some photos of our pumpkins this year. Reece of course had to have a sponge bob on his. This is his new obsession.

Playing in leaves

Since we don't have any trees at our house, I had to take the boys to the park to play in the leaves. They had so much fun and the park was so pretty with all beautiful colors of fall. This was Braxton's first time playing in the leaves, I think he enjoyed it until his brother got carried away with throwing leaves at him!

Boys and their IPODS

When I came into the living room the other night the boys had got their hands on mommy and daddy's IPODS. They looked so cute listening to the music. I had a vision of them as teenagers YIKES!!!

Fieldtrip to the pumpkin farm

Reece's preschool class took a trip to the pumpkin farm. It was a beautiful day and Reece enjoyed picking a pumpkin, going through a corn maze, jumping in the corn pit, and mining for gems. Thank goodness for the boyscout dad that helped us through the corn maze! I have a terrible sense of direction without GPS! ha ha

Braxton and the boots

We were outside playing one day and Braxton disappeared into the garage. When he came back out he had these old boots of Reece's on. He even got them on the right feet. We were laughing so hard and of course mommy had to get the camera.

Trick Or Treating at Campground

We went camping again the last weekend of September for the Halloween Spooktacular. The weather was perfect and the boys got a ton of candy. Braxton was a little unsure at first because we had to wake him up from his nap, but once he realized he was getting candy he was on a mission. They also got to go on a hayride in the evening. As you can see after a day of fun everyone passed out early, even BJ!

Fishing

One of the things the boys love about going camping is that they get to go fishing. They started out fishing with Papa on the dock and Reece caught some little fish all by himself. Then they got to go out on our friends boat and catch the big ones. Of course Reece needed some help with the bass that he caught but he did get to reel it in. As you can see Braxton usually sits with Papa so that he doesn't get in trouble!!

Carrying fire wood

We went camping on Labor Day weekend again with my parents and some of their friends. The boys had a great time. Braxton loves to help getting the camper all set-up. Here are some pics of him carrying fire wood. He is pretty strong for a 2 year old.

Papa's 70th Birthday!
