Papa's 70th Birthday!

Braxton and the frog

We found a frog in our pool and Braxton was very interested in it. That is until it jumped when Dave put it on the deck. Then he was afraid of it and wanted mommy to get it. There was no way mommy was going to touch that thing! The funny thing is the day before when we were outside playing and swimming he had no problem picking up a huge spider and also came over to Dave saying "bug bug" when he really had a live bee in his hand. The kid is crazy! He was very upset when the frog finally hopped away into a bush.

First Day of Preschool

Here are some pictures of Reece's first day of preschool this year. He had a great day. Mom on the other hand cried like a baby as usual. He is going to school 4 days a week this year and is staying until 2pm for an extra play and stay group for 2 of the days. He gets to eat lunch with friends and have some extra play time when he stays. I can't believe this is the last first day of preschool he will ever have! Where does time go?

Swim Party

Reece has been begging me to let him have a pool party with his friends before school starts. He really wanted to have a pool party with a slumber party and mom said lets just try a pool party first( the thought of it all together scares me to death! ha ha. I need to keep my sanity). Since I am such a last minute person I was late in getting the invitations out so he didn't get as many kids as he would have liked but he still had a great time. His friends Bailey and Carter from his preschool last year were the only two that could make it. They had a blast swimming in their "boat", eating pizza, and of course they had to attack Daddy! Reece loved having a special day with his friends and can't wait to do it again!

Braxton going camping

We went camping last weekend with Mom & Dad. Reece had a Tball game so Braxton got to leave with Nana and Papa on Friday night all by himself. Dave, Reece, and I went to the campground on Saturday after the ballgame. Braxton thought he was big stuff with his backpack and leaving home without his big brother. Of course Reece didn't think it was fair, but he has had several outings with Nana & Papa all by himself.
